Lincoln Service Technician – Entry Level to Master Technician

Service Technician Responsibilities
  • Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards.
  • Test‑drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of any additional service needed and provide estimates of time required.
  • Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.
Service Technician Qualifications
  • 2+ years of Service Technician experience (preferred).
  • High school diploma or equivalent; ASE Certification preferred.
  • Ford/Lincoln Certification preferred.
  • Previous experience at a Ford/Lincoln dealership (preferred).
  • Previous experience with luxury vehicles preferred.
  • Strong diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair skills.
  • Dexterous with steady hand, excellent hand‑eye coordination.
  • Mechanical and troubleshooting skills with ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
  • Positive, friendly attitude and eagerness to improve.
  • Team player with ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
