Salary: $40,000 – $95,000 per year.

Under general guidance of the Master Plumber and management, repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical, electronic, plumbing and electrical equipment. This position will be located n Providence - Southfield, MI.

• Demonstrates safe work practices and attitudes, follows safety rules, works to prevent unsafe conditions and behaviors, and participates in organizational and departmental safety programs.
• Maintains daily contact with management to report general status of activities in the afternoon shift.
• Assembles, installs, adjusts, repairs, and maintains complex or specialized plumbing systems, lift stations, sump systems, sanitary and storm systems.
• Provides maintenance/repair to domestic water systems including potable water and reverse‑osmosis systems.
• Repairs and maintains a variety of plumbing equipment and fixtures, such as valves, faucets, toilets, basins, garbage disposals, water tanks, and lawn sprinklers.
• Performs metal fabricating, brazing, cutting and repairs using electrical welders.
• Assists Master Plumber with duties and responsibilities.
• Performs snow removal duties and spreads salt on hospital driveways, entrances, and walkways as assigned.
• Performs all other duties and projects as assigned.

• Licensure / Certification / Registration: Journey Plumber required.
• Education: High School graduate or equivalent; attendance at hospital equipment training schools.
• Work Experience: Four years as Licensed Journey Plumber required.
