Learning Support Assistant - Personal Care
Morgan Hunt is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to support students with SEND at a Further Education college in North London.
You'll help learners access lessons, build confidence and develop independence, while providing personal care with dignity and respect.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing one-to-one and small-group learning support
- Supporting personal care needs, including toileting and hygiene, in line with individual care plans
- Encouraging independence, communication and participation
- Working closely with lecturers and the wider SEND team
- Creating a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment
We're looking for:
- Experience supporting people with SEND in education or care
- Experience providing personal care sensitively and respectfully
- A patient, reliable and encouraging approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
