Apartment Leasing Agent
We are seeking a motivated and personable Apartment Leasing Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in facilitating the leasing of apartment units and providing exceptional customer service to prospective residents. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for real estate, and the ability to create a positive experience for potential tenants.
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct property tours, highlighting features and amenities to prospective residents.
Answer questions and provide detailed information regarding rental policies, pricing, and leasing agreements.
Perform background checks, credit checks, and reference checks on potential tenants.
Prepare and execute lease agreements and ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies.
Utilize social media, online platforms, and community events to promote available units.
Maintain positive relationships with current residents to support word-of-mouth referrals.
Address resident concerns, complaints, and inquiries promptly and effectively.
Provide follow-up communication to ensure a positive leasing experience.
Assist in managing inventory and maintaining the presentation of leasing office and model apartments.
Coordinate with maintenance and management teams to ensure properties are well-maintained and meet leasing standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in real estate, business, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in leasing, real estate, or customer service is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of fair housing laws and regulations is a plus.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
