This role is part of Sam's Club's membership assistance team, helping members with carts, loading their vehicles, and creating a great shopping experience.

Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr (actual pay based on skills and experience).

You will keep the parking lot clean, assist members with carts and loading bags, and maintain a positive first and last impression.

Key responsibilities include:

• Keep the parking lot well‑kept and safe.
• Assist members with cart retrieval and vehicle loading.
• Stand for long periods and work on your feet, rain or shine.
• Respond quickly and accurately to member requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and member‑ready areas.

In addition to daily cart attendant duties, you will: manage pickup order notifications, resolve member issues, conduct safety sweeps, handle member payments using the cash register, maintain cart availability, follow company policies, and support a safe, welcoming environment.

• Maintain a positive attitude by smiling, greeting and thanking members.
• Provide exceptional customer service across the club, answering questions and offering alternative product options when needed.
• Keep the parking lot and loading areas clean and orderly.

Additional compensation may be provided in Premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour, based on schedule, facility or specific work performed.

Minimum qualifications are outlined below:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math and communication skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Familiarity with cash register procedures.
• Commitment to excellent customer service.

• Experience in a retail or customer service environment.
• Knowledge of Walmart and Sam's Club policies.
• Previous cart attendant or similar role.
