A Kroger Deli Clerk creates an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service while encouraging other associates to do the same. As a Deli Clerk you will:

• Prepare food items for the cold case, fresh pack, salad, and hot bars per customer requests
• Measure, prepare, and mix ingredients according to the recipe using kitchen utensils and equipment
• Label, date, cover, rotate, and monitor deli items for quality and freshness
• Gain and maintain knowledge of deli products and respond to questions with suggestions
• Provide excellent customer service, address customer needs in a timely manner, and model suggestive selling techniques
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines
• Be asked to perform the essential functions of this position and other duties as assigned by store leadership
