• Develop comprehensive project estimates and bid proposals for a variety of construction projects, including but not limited to civil engineering, heavy construction, and infrastructure projects.
• Use estimating software such as Agtek, Primavera, HCSS, and Heavy Bid to accurately calculate project costs, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor expenses.
• Conduct detailed take-offs to determine the scope of work and required resources.
• Work closely with project managers to develop project schedules and plans, and to monitor project progress.
• Review project designs and specifications to ensure accurate cost estimates.
• Coordinate with (U)
  DBE firms to ensure compliance with diversity and inclusion requirements.
• Participate in project meetings and discussions with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Continuously monitor industry trends and pricing to ensure that our estimates are competitive and accurate.
• Prepare and present project estimates and bid proposals to clients and senior management.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating, with a focus on civil engineering and heavy construction projects.
• Proficiency in estimating software such as Agtek, Primavera, HCSS, and Heavy Bid.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make accurate calculations and estimates.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Knowledge of (U)
  DBE requirements and experience working with (U)
  DBE firms is a plus.
• A professional certification in estimating or project management is preferred.
