We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support production and warehouse operations. The role involves handling wire spools, operating building equipment, and ensuring accurate inventory and shipping processes.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Accurately pull and cut wire from large spools to fill customer orders.
  • Operate equipment safely and effectively for production processing.
  • Perform warehouse responsibilities as inventory management, packaging, and labeling.
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing material for accuracy and damage and report any discrepancies.
  • Follow safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation.
  • Receive, store, and distribute incoming materials and products (may involve using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks).
  • Properly complete production paperwork and utilize a barcoding system.
  • Review and follow shipping order instructions and specifications.
  • Operate an air compressed bander where required.
  • Read packaging instructions on work orders.
  • Handle tasks and cross-train to help the company meet its goals.
Education and Experience
  • High School degree or equivalent preferred. Prior experience or training in a related field or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Must be able to use and understand simple mathematics (addition, subtraction, fractions, decimals). Knowledge of the Standard/Imperial measuring system is required; metric system is a plus.
  • Understanding and use of basic measuring instruments required; micrometers are preferred.

Working Conditions (Including Physical and Mental Demands)
