Staff Accountant

A growing organization is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its Finance & Accounting team. This is a hands-on opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working across AP, AR, general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close.

The Staff Accountant will work closely with the Controller and play an important role in maintaining accurate and timely financial records.

• Manage daily accounts payable activities, including invoice processing, coding, approvals, and payments.
• Process employee expense reimbursements and maintain vendor records.
• Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment posting, aging, and collections follow-up.
• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Perform monthly balance sheet and subledger reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close.
• Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for audits.
• Review and post payroll journal entries and assist with payroll reconciliations.
• Support HR with accounting-related employee changes.
• Assist with reporting, analysis, and process improvement initiatives.

• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of full-cycle AP and AR.
• Strong Excel skills, including lookups and pivot tables.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and work independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience with Sage Intacct or another cloud-based ERP.
• Experience with , Ramp, or similar AP automation platforms.
• Previous experience supporting external audits.
