Security Production Engineering (SPE) is a pivotal component of our organizations’ cyber security resilience, acting as a core contributor in enhancing the efficiency, effectiveness, scalability, and resilience of our cyber security applications and the infrastructure they run on. We delve into the heart of security platforms, employing our superior cyber knowledge combined with our IT expertise to provide unique business value and ensure the company's robust digital defenses.

As a member of the SPE team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our cyber security applications and supporting the infrastructure they run on, both in implementation design and support resiliency perspectives.

• Address technical issues, manage IT security risk, and design the infrastructure to implement and maintain cyber security applications and platforms.
• Identify the right solutions to solve ambiguous, open-ended problems that require prioritization among disparate business and team objectives.
• Urgently detect and respond to technical security issues. Follow up with a root‑cause analysis (RCA) and implement improvements to prevent re-occurrence.
• Improve our documentation and processes, as well as the design and execution of key deliverables within assigned technologies.
• As a knowledge manager, you'll grow into a subject‑matter expert, developing technical operating procedures and ensuring a complete understanding of our product suite.
• As a seasoned engineer, you'll strive to exceed expectations and deliver on technical program initiatives within time and resource constraints.

This role requires on-call support work.

• 6+ years’ experience in application support or application development engineering fields focussed on requirements gathering, infrastructure design planning, installation, configuring, lower‑environment testing, production deployment, lifecycle maintenance, monitoring, task automation, disaster recovery, vulnerability remediation, and production support of security or business applications.
• 4+ years of experience with Linux, including server hardening, user rights, interpretation of system logs, and automation of tasks.
• 3+ years of experience with Windows system administration, including system logs, registry, LDAP, Active Directory integration and automation of tasks.
• 3+ years of automation experience (Python, scripts, Ansible, Salt, etc.) using CI/CD technologies.
• Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting network issues, such as IP and TCP protocols.
• Hands‑on experience with planning, installing, configuring, deploying, and supporting applications in a multiple‑datacenter enterprise environment.
• Hands‑on experience with designing and supporting load balancing and high‑availability / disaster‑recovery (HADR) in a multiple‑datacenter environment.
• Experience following ITIL change‑management practices and processes.
• Strong problem‑solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Highly effective communication skills (both written and oral) for clear, concise interactions across all organization levels.
• Basic experience with utilizing active‑directory structures and authentication.
• Experience with creating documents within Atlassian tooling such as Confluence and Jira (or equivalent).
• Preferred:
  Demonstrable experience in one or more of the following (or equivalent) technologies:
  • Supporting third‑party cyber‑defense protection applications such as phishing campaign response, orchestration and automation, security data sources, etc.
