Stand Strong Fencing of Southlake is seeking a motivated, results driven Sales Consultant to help grow our residential fencing business throughout the Dallas Fort Worth area.

This is a field based sales role focused on meeting with homeowners, understanding their fencing needs, developing accurate estimates and proposals, recommending the right solutions, and closing business.

Sales Consultants will work opportunities generated through company marketing while also building their own pipeline through referrals, networking, canvassing, door knocking, clover leafing around active and completed projects, and local relationship building.

We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the entire sales process
, from the first customer conversation through the completed sale, while maintaining disciplined follow up and an organized pipeline.

Candidates must be local to DFW and comfortable traveling throughout our Southlake, Fort Worth, Arlington, and surrounding service territories for in person sales appointments.

Compensation & What We Provide

This is a commission based sales opportunity
, structured by default as a 1099 independent contractor engagement
, with uncapped earning potential
. Compensation is tied directly to sales performance and production.

Our commission structure is designed to reward higher production and self generated business
, with commission rates that increase based on performance.

For candidates with a proven track record of high level sales performance
, we are open to discussing alternative compensation structures, including base plus commission
, based on experience and demonstrated results.

Consultants engaged as 1099 independent contractors are responsible for managing their own schedules and determining when they work. There are no required evening or weekend hours
. Consultants may choose to schedule appointments during evenings or weekends based on their own availability and customer needs.

For candidates hired under a wage or base plus commission structure
, schedule and availability expectations will be established based on the agreed upon employment arrangement and the needs of the business.

Regardless of structure, success in this role depends on consistent responsiveness to customers and disciplined management of assigned opportunities

• Meet with homeowners for in person fencing consultations

• Confirm and qualify appointments prior to meetings when appropriate.
• Understand the customer’s goals, budget, timeline, property conditions, and project requirements.
• Measure project areas and gather the information necessary to prepare accurate estimates and proposals.
• Recommend appropriate fencing materials, styles, configurations, and solutions.
• Prepare estimates within company pricing standards. Discounts or scope changes beyond approved parameters require management approval.
• Clearly explain products, installation methods, project expectations, timelines, and next steps.
• Present estimates and proposals professionally and answer customer questions.
• Document all project commitments in writing. Changes beyond the signed estimate require a written, signed change order before work is promised or performed.
