Sr Specialist - Software Development & Engineering

$65-$70/hr

• Develop and improve investment in lifecycle solutions in Risk Solutions, working alongside .NET engineers to deliver enterprise software outcomes.
• Design, develop, deploy, test, implement, and support technical solutions across full-stack development tools and approved AI developer productivity capabilities.
• Build and maintain web UI and REST APIs within an enterprise architecture environment using the .NET framework and C#.
• Troubleshoot and support applications in production, including debugging issues and improving reliability and performance.
• Apply AI-assisted engineering practices to improve development velocity, code maintainability, testing efficiency, and documentation quality—using responsible AI judgment and validation.

• Solid background in application development with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Demonstrated ability to apply .NET development tools and techniques across coding, debugging, refactoring, test creation, documentation, and code review workflows.
• Proficiency building client/server-side applications using .NET.
• Strong understanding of relational and SQL database concepts, with 3-5 years of experience and proficiency in SQL Server.
• Familiarity with creating REST API integrations (minimum 1-3 years of experience) and comfort working in an Agile scrum-based environment.

• Work in a hybrid environment with on-site collaboration four days per week and team alignment across Agile delivery.
• Engage in design, code, AI-assisted code validation, and technical design reviews to strengthen quality and consistency.
• Mentor and provide AI-assisted engineering guidance to support team members and improve delivery practices.
• Build project artifacts such as technical specifications, AI usage notes, solution design documentation, and metrics reports.
