North Texas Nadadores (NTN) is seeking an outstanding, motivated, and experienced Developmental & Age Group Coach to join our dynamic coaching staff in Southlake, Texas. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for swimming, a strong foundation in developmental and age-group coaching, and the ability to communicate effectively with swimmers, parents, and staff while positively representing NTN at the local and national levels.
This full-time position offers benefits and the opportunity to grow within a successful and expanding program. NTN is a member of the North Texas LSC and is home to more than 250 year-round swimmers
, training and competing at Carroll Senior High School. The Carroll Independent School District and NTN is known for its rich history of swimming success.
1)
The Developmental Group (Junior
1) is the entry level of the NTN program, serving swimmers from beginner through developing stages. This area of the program has experienced significant growth over the past season. We are seeking a coach who is enthusiastic about leading this group, building strong fundamentals, and growing alongside the program.

The Advanced Level Group (Age Group
3) primarily consists of swimmers ages 11–13 who have demonstrated the ability to train and compete at a higher level. This group serves as a key bridge into NTN’s senior-level program.
The coach will be responsible for maintaining the overall integrity and success of the Junior 1 program, leading practices six days per week.
- Develop and implement curriculum for Junior 1 in collaboration with the Head Coach
- Attend all lead coach meetings and staff meetings and swim meets
- Work with the Head Coach to establish training schedules and advancement criteria
- Coordinate stroke technique and training principles across the program
- Collaborate with coaching staff to execute the long-term vision for team growth and success
The coach will be responsible for maintaining the overall integrity and success of the Age Group 3 program, leading practices six days per week.
- Develop and implement training plans for Age Group 3 in collaboration with the Head Coach
- Attend all lead coach meetings and staff meetings and swim meets
- Work with the Head Coach to establish training schedules and advancement criteria
- Coordinate stroke technique and training principles
- Collaborate with coaching staff to execute the team’s vision for growth and continued success
- Strong work ethic, passion, engaging personality with young children and families.
- Minimum of 1 year coaching experience preferred
- Demonstrated success in swimmer development and progression
- Ability to mentor and motivate swimmers and staff
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Current USA Swimming membership and certifications (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to begin employment on March 17, 2026
