Primary Teaching Assistants Needed:
Southport (PR8)

Randstad Education is urgently seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistants to support excellent schools in the PR8 area (Southport). We offer a variety of placements to suit your availability, including immediate day:to:day cover, stable long-term, and full-time opportunities.

• Minimum six months paid experience working with primary-aged children in a UK school setting, or relevant volunteering experience and qualifications.
• Must be flexible and available for various types of work, including long-term, full-time, and day:to:day assignments.
• Possession of an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
• Full eligibility to work in the UK.

Full eligibility to work in the UK is mandatory. Randstad does not offer sponsorship or visa support for this role.

• Providing essential one-to-one and small group support for pupil learning.
• Assisting the teacher with classroom preparation and general administration.
• Helping to manage classroom behaviour to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN) where necessary.
• Supervising children during non-contact times, such as lunch and play.
