Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for your next long-term role?

A welcoming and supportive primary school in Southport is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible.

The Role

We are looking for someone who can:

• Support teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
• Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons
• Provide 1:1 or small group support when required
• Assist with classroom management and pupil wellbeing
• Help create a positive, encouraging learning environment

Requirements

To be considered, you will need:

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant (essential)
• A strong understanding of primary education and classroom support
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
• A proactive, flexible and supportive approach
• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
