Teenager Accommodation Support Worker

A great opportunity to work with an established and growing care company providing residential live in support and supported accommodation support for children and young adults with learning difficulties and challenging behaviour. They are always growing and take pride in the support they give the children they believe that setting them up with the life skills now will help them turn into well rounded members of the community.

Their staff are always on hand to provide emotional support as well as helping to teach and develop the children for the future.

They are recruiting for a Supported Accommodation Support Worker, you will be:

• Based in a group supported home for young people (16-18 years old), a self contained flat complex
• Working 2 shifts per week (10am till 10am next day is a shift)
• Based at their Southport facility (PR9)
• Working with male and female young adults from 16-18 years old
• Supporting the young adult with preparing them for living alone and helping them navigate self sufficiency and growing into a responsible adult
• Making sure they are supported emotionally as well so they can work towards not needed the support as they grow older

Salary and benefits for a supported accommodation support worker:

• £13.49 without the NVQ level 3 OR £15.02 if you already have it
• £60 per sleep in in addition paid for 32.5 hours per week...
