Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor and develop the finance team
Produce monthly management accounts, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reporting
Attend senior management meetings, including presenting the numbers
Prepare journals, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, depreciation and stock valuations
Deliver robust balance sheet reconciliations and maintain strong financial controls
Manage cash flow reporting and produce rolling 12-week cash flow forecasts
Ensure financial compliance and statutory compliance, including with VAT, PAYE, CIS, payroll, pensions, and Companies House
Support budgeting, forecasting and longer-term financial /strategic planning
Work closely with senior leadership, providing financial insight to support commercial decision making
Lead ERP implementation project
Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, systems and controls

About You
Previous experience as a Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager leading a finance function
Experience producing monthly management accounts and financial reporting
A recognised finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), or significant Qualified by Experience (QBE) expertise
Strong Excel and finance systems knowledge
Excellent communication and leadership skills
A proactive, organised approach with the ability to prioritise effectively
