Whalley Computer Associates Inc is seeking an experienced and visionary Project Manager (from Jr. to Sr. level dependent on experience and certifications) to oversee the successful delivery of complex IT infrastructure and service projects across diverse industries. In this strategic position, you will not only ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, but also drive innovation, foster team excellence, and build long‑term client relationships.
The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in managing large‑scale IT projects, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to influence cross‑functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
- Lead and manage full lifecycle of client‑facing IT projects, including infrastructure deployments, system migrations, cloud implementations, and technology rollouts
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, task assignments, and resource schedules
- Serve as the senior point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
- Mentor and guide project teams, fostering and environment of collaboration
- Coordinate internal engineering teams, vendors, and client stakeholders to meet project goals
- Monitor project status, identify risks and issues, and implement solutions proactively
- Ensure clear communication, documentation, and reporting throughout all phases of the project
- Conduct post‑project reviews to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement
- Maintain accurate records in project management and CRM systems
- Act as a trusted advisor, building long‑term partnerships with clients through exceptional service and results
- 3-5+ years of project management experience in IT services, infrastructure, or MSP environments
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with competing priorities
- Strong understanding of IT concepts such as networking, servers, cloud, virtualization, and security
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Experience using project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Asana, or similar
- PMP, CAPM, or other project management certifications are a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field preferred
- Ability to travel to client sites as required
- Must be able to pass a background check (signed release needed)
- Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
WCA offers competitive pay rates based on experience and ability. Full time positions include health insurance, dental insurance, paid vacation and personal time, holiday pay, 401K with company match, and long‑term disability.
Location: Southwick, MA (WCA Headquarters)
Hours: Monday‑ Friday, 8:30am‑5:00pm
