An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and enthusiastic Assistant Grower to join a well‑established horticultural business in North Yorkshire. Working within a modern glasshouse environment, this role is ideal for someone looking to develop their horticultural skills and build a long-term career in commercial plant production.

As an Assistant Grower, you'll play a hands-on role in supporting the day‑to‑day care of young plants, working alongside experienced growers within a friendly and supportive team. This is a great opportunity for someone with early experience in glasshouse growing who's eager to learn more and take the next step in their horticultural journey.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the daily care, cultivation, and monitoring of young plants
Support irrigation, feeding, spacing, and general crop maintenance
Help maintain a clean, organised, and safe glasshouse environment
Monitor plant health and growing conditions
Work collaboratively with the wider growing team during busy seasonal periods

What We're Looking For

Genuine passion for horticulture and plant production
Some hands‑on experience working in a glasshouse or protected growing environment
A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work well within a team
A horticultural qualification is preferred but not essential
