An established organisation based in Germiston is looking for a Senior Tax Consultant / Accountant to join its team.

This is not a purely back-office accounting position. While you will utilise your technical accounting and tax experience
, an important part of your role will be engaging with clients, developing relationships and contributing towards business development and the growth of the client portfolio
.

The opportunity would suit someone who has completed their articles and wants to build a broader career combining technical finance expertise with commercial and client-facing exposure
.

• Provide accounting and tax-related services
• Assist with tax compliance and related requirements
• Manage accounting responsibilities and client deliverables
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships
• Participate actively in business development
• Engage with prospective clients and assist in generating new business
• Provide professional financial and tax-related support to clients
• Maintain high standards of accuracy, compliance and client service

Education:

• Relevant Finance / Accounting degree
• Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles

Experience:

• Completed articles OR approximately 1 year post-articles experience
• Practical accounting and/or tax experience
• Client-facing exposure advantageous
• Interest and ability to participate in business development
