Accountant, Accounts Receivable​/ Collections, Staff Accountant

Our client is seeking a diligent and organized Accountant to join their finance team in Soweto . This role is responsible for managing daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance. You will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records and support the broader finance department's operations. • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure all journal entries are accurate and properly supported.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 1-3 years of experience in an accounting role.
