About the Role
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-oriented individual to join their team as an Automotive Service Advisor Trainee in Soweto . - Greet customers warmly upon arrival and assist with initial vehicle check-in procedures.
- Listen attentively to customer concerns regarding their vehicle's performance and maintenance needs.
- Accurately record customer information and service requests into the dealership's management system.
- Shadow experienced Service Advisors to learn best practices in customer communication and service consultation.
- Assist in coordinating vehicle service schedules and communicating estimated completion times.
- Learn to explain basic vehicle maintenance requirements and services to customers.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong customer service orientation and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Eagerness to learn about the automotive industry and vehicle servicing.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software systems.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to the demands of a busy workshop in Soweto.
