About the Role

Our client is seeking a hands-on and experienced Construction Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations on construction sites within Soweto and surrounding areas. This role is crucial for ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to the specified quality standards. You will be responsible for guiding construction crews, monitoring work progress, enforcing safety protocols, and coordinating with various tradespeople and suppliers.

The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of construction processes in the Gauteng region.

• Supervise and direct the work of construction crews and subcontractors on site.
• Ensure adherence to project plans, schedules, and quality standards.
• Implement and enforce all health and safety regulations on the construction site.
• Coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment, managing site logistics effectively.
• Conduct regular inspections of work in progress and completed tasks.
• Maintain daily site reports and communicate progress and any issues to project management.

• Proven experience as a Construction Site Supervisor or a similar role.
• Solid understanding of construction processes, methods, and materials.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the construction industry.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to work on-site in various locations within and around Soweto.
