Construction Project Coordinator - Scale Developments

About the Role

Our client seeks a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Project Coordinator to support the management of large-scale development projects in Soweto . This role is integral to the smooth functioning of the project team, assisting with planning, scheduling, document control, and communication. You will work closely with Project Managers and Site Supervisors to ensure that projects are progressing efficiently and according to plan.

• Assist Project Managers with the development and maintenance of project schedules and plans.
• Manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, drawings, and meeting minutes.
• Coordinate communication between project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
• Track project progress, identify potential delays, and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
• Assist with site logistics, resource allocation, and procurement of materials.
• Ensure compliance with project administrative procedures and safety protocols on site in Soweto .

• Bachelor's degree or National Diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in a project coordination or administrative role within the construction industry .
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore) and MS Office Suite.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with construction processes and terminology in the Gauteng region is a plus.
