About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee daily construction activities in the Soweto area. This role is essential for ensuring that construction projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards. You will lead a team of construction workers, manage site resources, and coordinate with other project stakeholders to achieve project objectives. The successful candidate will possess strong practical knowledge of construction processes and a commitment to maintaining a productive and secure work environment within the Gauteng province.

• Supervise and direct the daily work of construction crews, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations .
• Manage on-site resources, including materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring proper usage and inventory.
• Provide clear instructions and guidance to workers, promoting teamwork and productivity.
• Conduct regular inspections of work in progress to uphold quality standards.
• Report on site progress, challenges, and resource needs to the Project Manager or Foreman.

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or Foreman in the construction industry.
• Solid understanding of construction methods, building codes, and site management practices .
• Knowledge of health and safety protocols on construction sites.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience working on residential or commercial construction projects in Soweto is preferred.
