About the Role

Our client is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Architectural Designer to join their team in Soweto . This role involves contributing to the design and development of various architectural projects, supporting senior architects and technologists throughout the project lifecycle. You will be involved in producing design documentation, visualizations, and ensuring that designs are aligned with client requirements and regulatory standards within the Gauteng region.

• Assist in the development of architectural designs, from initial concept to detailed design phases.
• Prepare architectural drawings, sketches, 3D models, and renderings for client presentations and internal reviews.
• Coordinate with engineering consultants and other project team members to integrate various design elements.
• Ensure designs comply with local building regulations and planning requirements in Soweto .
• Support the preparation of tender documentation and specifications.
• Conduct site visits as required to observe construction progress and assist in resolving design-related queries.

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related design field.
• 2-5 years of experience in architectural design or a similar role.
• Proficiency in architectural software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch Up, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong visualization skills and the ability to produce high-quality design graphics.
• Good understanding of South African building codes and construction practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for design in the Gauteng context.
