About the Role
Our client is seeking an innovative and experienced Curriculum Developer specializing in Mathematics to contribute to their educational initiatives in Soweto . This role involves designing, developing, and refining mathematics curricula for various educational levels, ensuring alignment with national standards and pedagogical best practices. You will research educational trends, create engaging learning materials, and work collaboratively with subject matter experts and educators.
This is a key position for an individual passionate about shaping effective mathematics education and improving learning outcomes through thoughtfully designed, impactful curricula.
- Design and develop comprehensive mathematics curricula for primary, secondary, and/or tertiary education levels.
- Create engaging and effective learning materials, including lesson plans, activities, and assessments.
- Research and integrate current pedagogical approaches and educational technologies into curriculum design.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, teachers, and educational stakeholders to ensure curriculum relevance and quality.
- Evaluate and revise existing curricula based on feedback, performance data, and educational research.
- A Master's degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or Curriculum Development.
- Demonstrated experience in curriculum design and development, particularly in mathematics.
- Strong understanding of educational theory, learning principles, and assessment strategies.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and digital learning tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly.
