About the Role

Our client is seeking a nurturing and experienced Early Childhood Educator to join their dedicated team in Soweto . This role focuses on creating a stimulating and safe learning environment for young children, fostering their cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. You will plan and implement age-appropriate activities that encourage curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning. This position is ideal for a passionate educator committed to providing a high-quality foundation for early learning within a vibrant community setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate educational programs and activities for young children.
  • Ensure a safe, healthy, and stimulating learning environment for all children.
  • Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
  • Promote positive social interactions and emotional development among children.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum based on early childhood education best practices.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with parents and families.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education (e.g., NQF Level 4 or equivalent).
  • Proven experience working with young children in an early learning setting.
  • Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching methods.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
  • Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children.
  • First Aid certification is advantageous.
