Key Responsibilities
  • Design and oversee the implementation of municipal water, sanitation, and stormwater systems.
  • Conduct assessments of existing infrastructure and identify needs for upgrades or rehabilitation.
  • Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and project cost estimates.
  • Manage small to medium-sized construction projects, ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Liaise with contractors, consultants, and relevant municipal departments.
  • Ensure all projects adhere to environmental regulations and municipal standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in municipal infrastructure projects.
  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) or Technologist (Pr Tech Eng) with ECSA.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant civil design software.
  • Understanding of municipal planning processes and public works requirements.
  • Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
