Chemical Process Engineer

Our client is looking for a proficient Chemical Process Engineer to join their established team in Soweto . This role is essential for optimizing and troubleshooting the day-to-day operations of their chemical manufacturing facility. You will focus on ensuring efficient production, maintaining product quality, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. This hands-on position requires a solid understanding of chemical engineering principles and practical experience in an industrial setting.

The successful candidate will contribute directly to the efficiency and reliability of our client's manufacturing processes.

• Monitor plant operations and analyze process data to identify areas for optimization.
• Troubleshoot process issues and implement solutions to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance yield, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
• Conduct P& and contribute to process design modifications.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Prepare operational reports and assist in operator training.

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering .
• 3+ years of experience in a chemical manufacturing or process engineering role.
• Proficiency in process data analysis and interpretation.
• Good understanding of unit operations and process control.
