About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly innovative and skilled Agricultural Engineer to contribute to the development and implementation of advanced agricultural technologies and systems. This role focuses on designing, improving, and maintaining the mechanical, structural, and systems aspects of agricultural operations, with opportunities for remote collaboration and contribution. • Design, develop, and test new agricultural machinery, equipment, and structures.
• Improve the efficiency and functionality of existing agricultural systems and technologies.
• Design and manage irrigation systems, drainage solutions, and water management infrastructure.
• Apply principles of mechanical, civil, and electrical engineering to agricultural challenges.
• Conduct feasibility studies and provide technical recommendations for new projects.
• Ensure that designs comply with safety standards, environmental regulations, and economic feasibility.
• Collaborate with agronomists, farmers, and other stakeholders to understand needs and provide solutions.
• Oversee the installation and maintenance of agricultural equipment and systems.

• Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Agricultural Engineer or in a similar engineering role within the agriculture sector.
• Strong understanding of agricultural machinery, hydraulics, and power systems.
• Proficiency in CAD software for design and drafting.
• Knowledge of irrigation, soil and water conservation, and environmental control systems.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
