Senior Telecom Network Engineer

• Design, deploy, and manage robust and scalable telecommunications networks, including fibre optic, wireless, and satellite systems.
• Conduct network performance analysis, identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce latency.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and adherence to service level agreements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and solutions into the existing network architecture.
• Plan and execute network upgrades and maintenance activities, minimizing disruption to services.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in telecommunications engineering.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in telecommunications network engineering.
• In-depth knowledge of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS) and routing/switching technologies.
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools and performance analysis software.
• Proficiency in network security principles and best practices.
• Experience with cloud-based network solutions and virtualization technologies is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, JNCIE) are highly desirable.
