Senior Reservoir Engineer - Offshore Exploration

• Conduct detailed reservoir characterization studies, integrating geological, geophysical, and engineering data.
• Develop and implement reservoir simulation models to predict reservoir behavior under various production scenarios.
• Perform volumetric calculations and economic evaluations for hydrocarbon reserves.
• Optimize well performance and recovery factors through advanced reservoir management techniques.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including geoscientists, drilling engineers, and production engineers.
• Monitor production data and field performance, identifying opportunities for enhancement.
• Stay abreast of new technologies and industry best practices in reservoir engineering.
• Contribute to the development and mentoring of junior reservoir engineers.

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in reservoir engineering within the upstream oil and gas industry.
• Proven expertise in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, CMG).
• Strong understanding of reservoir fluid properties, core analysis, and well testing interpretation.
• Proficiency in data analysis, statistical methods, and uncertainty assessment.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Familiarity with South African oil and gas regulations and operating environment is a plus.
• Membership in relevant professional engineering bodies is advantageous.
