Event Manager

Our client, a prominent organization in the Arts & Entertainment sector, is seeking a highly organized and creative Event Manager to oversee their diverse range of events in Soweto . This role is essential for conceptualizing, planning, and executing successful and memorable events that engage audiences and promote the organization's mission. You will manage all aspects of event production, from budget management and vendor coordination to marketing and on-site execution.

• Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of events, including festivals, exhibitions, performances, and workshops.
• Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
• Source and manage relationships with vendors, sponsors, and external partners.
• Oversee event logistics, including venue selection, staffing, security, and technical requirements.
• Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies for events.
• Ensure all events comply with relevant health, safety, and legal regulations.

• Proven experience as an Event Manager or in a similar event planning role.
• Strong understanding of event production, logistics, and budget management.
• Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills.
• Experience with in the Arts & Entertainment industry is highly desirable.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
