Financial Compliance Analyst

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Compliance Analyst to join their regulatory and compliance team in Soweto. This role is vital in ensuring the company adheres to all applicable financial laws, regulations, and internal policies. You will be responsible for monitoring transactions, identifying potential compliance risks, and assisting in the development and implementation of compliance procedures. • Monitor financial transactions and activities for compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., FICA, POPIA).
• Conduct investigations into suspicious activities and potential breaches of compliance policies.
• Assist in the development and updating of compliance procedures and training materials.
• Prepare reports on compliance status and identified risks for management review.
• Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and advise on their impact on business operations.
• Support internal and external audits related to compliance matters.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a compliance, risk, or audit role within the financial services industry.
• Knowledge of South African financial regulations (FICA, FAIS, POPIA).
• Strong analytical and investigative skills with keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
