About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking IT Manager to lead their technology operations in Soweto . This role is responsible for overseeing the company's IT infrastructure, systems, and support functions, ensuring operational efficiency and security. You will manage the IT team, implement technology strategies, and ensure that technology solutions align with business objectives. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong technical background and excellent team management skills, dedicated to maintaining a robust and secure IT environment.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the management and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and endpoints.
- Lead the IT team in providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions.
- Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and security measures to protect company data and systems.
- Manage IT projects, including system upgrades, software deployments, and hardware acquisitions.
- Ensure the availability, performance, and reliability of all IT systems and services.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT management or a senior IT support role.
- Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure, networks, and cybersecurity best practices.
