About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly analytical and proficient Senior Business Intelligence Developer to join their data analytics team in Soweto . This role is pivotal in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions, including data warehouses, dashboards, and reports, utilizing advanced BI tools and techniques.

- Design, develop, and implement robust Business Intelligence solutions, including data models, ETL processes, and reports.
- Create interactive and insightful dashboards and visualizations using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik View.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Optimize database performance and query efficiency for BI solutions.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement.
- Maintain and support existing BI systems, ensuring data accuracy and report integrity.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence development or a related data analytics role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Proven experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with ETL tools and processes for data integration.
