Senior Business Intelligence Developer

Our client is seeking a results-oriented Senior Business Intelligence Developer to enhance their data analytics capabilities in Soweto . This role is crucial for designing, developing, and implementing BI solutions that provide actionable insights to drive strategic business decisions. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their reporting needs, translate them into technical requirements, and build robust dashboards and reports.

• Design, develop, and maintain Business Intelligence solutions, including data warehouses, data marts, and reporting systems.
• Create interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense .
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction and transformation from various data sources.
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements, understand data needs, and deliver impactful analytical solutions.
• Perform data modeling and ensure data integrity and accuracy across all BI platforms.
• Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and reports.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence development or a similar data analytics role.
• Proven expertise in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense .
• Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and querying relational databases.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
