About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Supervisor to oversee cleaning and sanitation operations in Soweto . This role is essential for maintaining a hygienic and safe environment within the facilities. You will be responsible for leading a team of cleaning staff, managing schedules, ensuring the proper use of cleaning supplies and equipment, and upholding the highest standards of cleanliness.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sanitation procedures and a commitment to excellence in facility maintenance, contributing to the well-being of everyone on-site.

• Supervise and direct the daily activities of the sanitation team.
• Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures for all areas.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards and cleanliness are maintained.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and proper storage.
• Train new team members on cleaning protocols, safety procedures , and the use of equipment.
• Address any sanitation-related issues or concerns promptly and efficiently.

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within the cleaning or sanitation industry.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and sanitation techniques .
• Understanding of health and safety regulations in the workplace.
