Event Cleaning Crew Member

About the Role

Our client is seeking enthusiastic and hardworking Event Cleaning Crew Members to support cleaning operations for various events held across Soweto and surrounding areas. This role involves ensuring venues are clean and presentable before, during, and after events. You will be part of a dynamic team, working flexible hours to accommodate event schedules, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. The ideal candidate is energetic, adaptable, and possesses a strong sense of responsibility to maintain cleanliness in high-traffic environments.

• Perform pre-event setup cleaning, ensuring venues are tidy and welcoming.
• Conduct ongoing cleaning during events to maintain cleanliness and manage waste.
• Execute post-event cleanup, including waste removal, surface cleaning, and resetting venues.
• Respond promptly to cleaning needs and spills as they arise.
• Work effectively as part of a team to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently.

• Previous cleaning experience, preferably in event or hospitality settings, is an advantage.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods during events.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Team player with good communication skills.
