About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated Community Sanitation Lead to spearhead sanitation efforts within various community settings in Soweto . This role involves organizing and overseeing cleaning teams, ensuring public spaces and facilities meet stringent hygiene standards, and promoting health and safety within the community. You will be responsible for implementing cleaning schedules, managing resources, training staff on effective sanitation practices, and reporting on operational outcomes.

- Lead and coordinate teams of sanitation workers engaged in maintaining cleanliness in public areas and community facilities.
- Develop and implement effective cleaning and waste management strategies for designated community zones.
- Ensure compliance with all public health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock and proper usage.

- Previous experience in sanitation, cleaning supervision, or a related public services role.
