Specialized Cleaning Technician - Post-Construction

Our client is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Specialized Cleaning Technician with expertise in post-construction cleanup in the Soweto area. This role is crucial for ensuring that newly built or renovated spaces are immaculate and ready for occupancy. You will be responsible for removing all construction debris, dust, and residues using specialized equipment and techniques. The ideal candidate is reliable, physically fit, and possesses a thorough understanding of post-construction cleaning methodologies and safety requirements.

This is a demanding but rewarding role for someone who takes pride in delivering a pristine finish.

• Perform detailed cleaning of all surfaces after construction or renovation, including walls, floors, windows, and fixtures.
• Remove dust, paint splatters, adhesives, and other construction-related residues.
• Operate specialized cleaning equipment such as HEPA filter vacuums, floor buffers, and pressure washers.
• Clean and polish metal, glass, and plastic surfaces to a high standard.
• Ensure proper disposal of construction waste and cleaning materials according to site regulations.
• Conduct final inspections to ensure all cleaning specifications have been met before project handover.

• Proven experience as a post-construction cleaner or in a similar specialized cleaning role.
• Familiarity with a wide range of cleaning chemicals and their appropriate use on various surfaces.
• Ability to work efficiently and meticulously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Physical capability to perform demanding cleaning tasks, including climbing, bending, and lifting.
• Strong understanding of job site safety procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE).
