About the Role

Our client is looking for a motivated and experienced Operations Team Lead to supervise a key production team within their facility in Soweto . This role is instrumental in ensuring efficient daily operations, upholding safety standards, and meeting production targets. You will guide and support your team, troubleshoot operational issues, and contribute to a positive and productive work environment. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills, a practical understanding of manufacturing processes, and a commitment to excellence and teamwork.

• Lead and motivate a team of production operators to achieve daily production goals.
• Ensure adherence to all safety procedures and company policies on the production floor.
• Monitor production processes, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Provide on-the-job training and guidance to team members.
• Collaborate with supervisors and managers to improve operational efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment for the team.

• High school diploma or equivalent; further technical training is an advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead role within a manufacturing or production environment.
