Chemical Production Supervisor

Our client is seeking an experienced Chemical Production Supervisor to lead shifts and manage production teams at their facility in Soweto . This role is responsible for ensuring that production targets are met safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards. You will supervise operators, coordinate daily activities, and troubleshoot issues as they arise. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of chemical manufacturing processes and proven leadership capabilities in a production environment.

• Supervise and direct the daily activities of production operators to meet production schedules.
• Ensure all operations are conducted safely and in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor production processes, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions.
• Train and mentor new operators, and ensure ongoing competency of the team.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports.
• Collaborate with engineers and maintenance staff to address equipment and process issues.

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in chemical production, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Thorough understanding of chemical manufacturing processes and safety procedures.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
