About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Engineer to join their manufacturing operations team in Soweto . This role is vital in ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability before they reach the customer. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring quality control processes, performing inspections, and analyzing data to identify and address potential issues.

This position requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of quality management systems, and the ability to work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to uphold the company's commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures for manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct inspections and tests on raw materials, components, and finished products.
  • Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventative actions (CAPA).
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and improve product consistency.
  • Maintain quality control records and documentation, ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Participate in internal and external audits as needed.
  • Stay updated on quality management best practices and industry regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering , Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience in a Quality Control or Quality Assurance role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Proficiency in quality control tools and techniques (e.g., SPC, Six Sigma).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
