About the Role
Our client is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Aircraft Quality Assurance Specialist to join their established team in Soweto . This role is critical for upholding the stringent quality and safety standards of aircraft manufacturing and maintenance operations. You will be responsible for inspecting components, processes, and final assemblies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company specifications. Working on-site, you will play a key role in maintaining the integrity and reliability of our client's aviation products, contributing to a culture of excellence and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft parts, assemblies, and manufacturing processes.
- Ensure adherence to quality control procedures, engineering drawings, and industry standards.
- Identify, document, and report non-conformities and deviations from quality requirements.
- Verify corrective actions taken by relevant departments to address quality issues.
- Participate in internal and external audits to maintain compliance with regulatory bodies.
- Maintain accurate quality records and documentation for traceability and reporting purposes.
- Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance within the aviation or aerospace industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality control principles, inspection techniques, and documentation practices.
- Familiarity with aviation regulations (e.g., EASA, FAA) and quality management systems (e.g., AS9100).
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment.
