About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated and thorough Quality Assurance Specialist to join their manufacturing team in Soweto . This role is critical for ensuring that all products manufactured meet the highest standards of quality and comply with all relevant industry regulations and internal policies. You will be involved in developing, implementing, and maintaining the company's quality management system. Your responsibilities will include conducting audits, analyzing quality data, and working with production teams to resolve quality issues.
This is an on‑site role that requires a deep understanding of quality principles and a commitment to maintaining product integrity throughout the manufacturing process. Your attention to detail will be essential.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures.
- Analyze quality data, identify trends, and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement improvements.
- Develop and deliver quality training to production staff.
- Ensure all products meet specified quality standards before release.
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and root cause analysis techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in using quality assurance tools and software.
