• Design and execute complex biochemical assays to investigate enzyme kinetics, protein-protein interactions, and signaling pathways.
• Purify and characterize proteins and enzymes using various biochemical and biophysical techniques.
• Develop novel experimental approaches to address challenging scientific questions.
• Analyze and interpret experimental data, drawing meaningful conclusions and proposing next steps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including molecular biologists and medicinal chemists, to advance research projects.
• Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and potentially contribute to scientific publications.

• Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related life science field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on research experience in biochemistry.
• Proven expertise in protein purification, enzymology, and biochemical assay development.
• Experience with various biophysical techniques (e.g., SPR, ITC, MST) is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are essential for the role in Soweto.
