About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous Agricultural Research Assistant to support scientific investigations in Soweto, Gauteng. This role is crucial for assisting Agricultural Scientists and researchers in conducting field and laboratory experiments aimed at improving crop yields, soil health, and sustainable agricultural practices. You will be responsible for data collection, sample processing, equipment maintenance, and general laboratory support. The ideal candidate will have a strong scientific aptitude, excellent organizational skills, and a keen interest in agricultural research.

• Assist researchers in designing and executing agricultural experiments, both in the field and laboratory.
• Collect, record, and organize scientific data accurately from experiments and trials.

• Monitor experimental plots, perform necessary treatments, and record observations.
• Maintain detailed and organized records of all experimental procedures and results.

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Agriculture, Agronomy, Biology, or a related scientific field.
• Previous experience in a laboratory or research setting is advantageous.
