Postdoctoral Researcher - Nanotechnology

Our client is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join their advanced research group focused on Nanotechnology in Soweto. • Design and execute experiments for the synthesis and functionalization of nanomaterials.
• Characterize nanomaterials using advanced techniques such as TEM, SEM, AFM, XRD, and spectroscopy.
• Investigate the fundamental properties and potential applications of synthesized nanomaterials.
• Analyze experimental data, interpret results, and contribute to scientific publications and conference presentations.
• Collaborate with other researchers on interdisciplinary projects.
• Maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment.

• Ph.D. in Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, or a related field with a focus on nanotechnology.
• Demonstrated experience in nanomaterial synthesis and characterization techniques.
• Proficiency with relevant characterization tools (e.g., electron microscopy, spectroscopy).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for research dissemination.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a research team in Soweto.
